Case study of the environmentally friendly soil solidification material "Harden S".

Restoring the farmland and returning it to rice paddies! Introducing examples of coastal disaster recovery construction projects.

We would like to introduce a construction case of the environmentally friendly soil solidification material "Harden S," which effectively utilizes recycled resources. Due to the earthquake, dredging was carried out in the coastal areas around the island that had become shallower. Because there was no place for the dredged soil, it was unloaded onto the island. After temporary storage, it was improved and used for raising the ground level. The entire island's ground sank by about 30 cm due to the earthquake, resulting in poor drainage in the area where the dredged soil was temporarily stored. The topsoil was removed to a depth of 30 cm, and the foundation was raised by 30 cm with improved soil, after which the topsoil was returned to restore it as rice paddies. 【Construction Case】 ■ Project Name: Miyagi Prefecture Sendai Regional Promotion Office Coastal Disaster Recovery Project ■ Delivery Date: From February 2015 ■ Location: Kankazawa Island, Shiogama City, Miyagi Prefecture ■ Soil Improvement Material Used: Harden S, 5,760 tons ■ Land Condition: Sludge and muddy soil with high water content *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
